Injury shock for Fenerbahçe ahead of Nice match
Super Lig giants Fenerbahçe have suffered an injury blow ahead of their Europa League match against Nice. The yellow-navy club announced that 27-year-old goalkeeper İrfan Can Eğribayat has suffered a broken big toe on his right foot and will be sidelined for some time.
Fenerbahçe club released a statement regarding the injury.
The statement included the following:
"Following a blow to his foot during training last night, our Professional Football A Team player İrfan Can Eğribayat has sustained a fracture in his right big toe. Treatment for our player has begun."
WHEN WILL HE RETURN?
İrfan Can Eğribayat, who suffered the big toe injury, is expected to be sidelined for 2-3 weeks. It was reported that goalkeeper Ederson will guard the net in place of İrfan Can, who was not included in the squad for the Nice match.
