The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has completed the investigation launched against former Galatasaray player and coach Sabri Sarıoğlu following allegations that surfaced in May. Lara G., who worked at a hotel, had applied to the prosecutor's office, claiming that she became pregnant by Sarıoğlu and terminated the pregnancy due to pressure. These allegations quickly sparked a widespread debate in the sports and tabloid world.
PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE: NO EVIDENCE FOUND TO CONFIRM ALLEGATIONS
Throughout the investigation, the statements of the parties, existing records, and submitted documents were comprehensively evaluated. According to information reported by Sabah, the prosecutor's office did not encounter any concrete evidence to support Lara G.'s claims. Once the technical examination and evaluations were completed, a decision of non-prosecution was issued regarding Sarıoğlu.
With this decision, the investigation into Sarıoğlu has been officially closed.
