In Fenerbahçe, it is claimed that head coach İsmail Kartal is preparing to make changes to the squad ahead of the Champions League match against Roma following the Beşiktaş derby.
According to a report in Sabah, it is alleged that Kartal plans to bench Semedo, İrfan Can Kahveci, Oğuz Aydın, and Muriqi, whose performances he is reportedly dissatisfied with.
The report states that Mert Müldür is expected to replace Semedo, while İsmail Yüksek is expected to take the place of İrfan Can Kahveci. It was noted that until Asensio returns, İsmail Yüksek could serve in the number 6 position, while Kante and Guendouzi could be utilized in the central midfield.
It was stated that Kerem Aktürkoğlu or Nene could find a chance on the left wing in place of Oğuz Aydın, while it was suggested that Romelu Lukaku could start in the forward line instead of the Kosovar striker Muriqi.
It is considered that the choices made by the yellow-navy team before the Roma match will be closely watched as they will demonstrate how the technical staff responds to the situation that emerged after the derby.
