According to a report by Türkiye Gazetesi, İsmail Kartal has requested that Milan Skriniar and Jayden Oosterwolde, whose names have been linked to transfer rumors, be kept on the team. The report claims that during a meeting with the management, Kartal conveyed his view that the two players "must stay."

It is alleged that Benfica is interested in Skriniar, while Oosterwolde has suitors from Serie A and Ligue 1. However, it is reported that Kartal views the two defensive players as key parts of the team and described the duo as the "team's insurance" during his assessment with the management.

31-year-old Milan Skriniar's contract with Fenerbahçe runs until June 2029. 25-year-old Jayden Oosterwolde's current contract with the yellow-navy club will expire in the summer of 2028.
