İstanbulspor reacts to TFF in official statement

Following their defeat to Fatih Karagümrük, which confirmed their relegation from the Süper Lig, İstanbulspor has issued a reaction to the TFF.

In the statement released by İstanbulspor, it was stated, "We will rise from where we fell, but you will NEVER be able to escape the quagmire you have fallen into, and you will struggle with this shame for the rest of your lives!"

Here is the statement released by İstanbulspor: 

"CONGRATULATIONS TFF!

The injustices our club has systematically faced since the beginning of the season have unfortunately continued today, and another one has been added to the dozens of points our club has lost due to referee errors.

We are not surprised by these decisions. However, we are deeply saddened on behalf of Turkish football and the İstanbulspor community that the hopes of our players, who fight with their sweat and tears, our staff, who work with great sacrifice day and night, and our fans, who have given their hearts to us, are being consciously ignored.

Of course, we are not naive enough to expect a conscientious approach from the TFF and its boards; however, we cannot comprehend how they can still sit in those seats while the TFF and its boards have lost concepts such as justice and conscience.

We may have bid farewell to the Süper Lig today in the way some dreamed of, but we will continue to be a club that stands on its own two feet, to speak what we know to be true everywhere, and to fight to expose your true face at every opportunity. We will rise from where we fell, but you will NEVER be able to escape the quagmire you have fallen into, and you will struggle with this shame for the rest of your lives!

Our İstanbulspor, which has never given up its struggle despite the TFF and its boards, will continue to maintain its fight in the TFF 1. Lig just as it did in the Süper Lig, in a manner worthy of its history, by trusting in Turkish youth, and by contributing to the country's football while accompanying it with contemporary norms.

We wish success to all our clubs that fight with honor in line with their goals, and we respectfully greet the Turkish football public."
