Fenerbahçe midfielder Sebastian Szymanski, who made statements after the match, shared notable remarks.

"I CANNOT WAIT TO WORK WITH MOURINHO"

The 25-year-old Pole joined the team for 9.75 million euros and had been among the names likely to leave the team this season.

While there was curiosity about whether he would stay at the club following Fenerbahçe's agreement with Jose Mourinho, Szymanski said the following in his post-match statement:

Ilıcalı had used the expressions, "Very good names will come to Fenerbahçe. Jose Mourinho adores Szymanski. I don't know if we will participate in the Champions League this year. Our topic at the table is not this year's Champions League. It is the championship this year, the championship the next year, and the championship again the year after that."
