Italian hurdle for Beşiktaş's Felix Uduokhai transfer
Transfer negotiations between Beşiktaş and Hellas Verona for defender Felix Uduokhai have ended unsuccessfully due to the parties' inability to reach an agreement on financial terms.
Hellas Verona, one of the established teams in Italian football, had set its sights on Beşiktaş center-back Felix Uduokhai as part of its plans to strengthen its defense during the winter transfer window. However, transfer negotiations stalled following the initial contacts between the two clubs.
During the discussions regarding the 1997-born German defender, Hellas Verona and the Beşiktaş management could not find common ground on the transfer model and financial demands. Significant differences in the proposals from both sides led the process to a deadlock.
Following the latest talks, the Italian side withdrew from the negotiations and suspended the Uduokhai transfer. Consequently, Serie A has become a distant possibility for now for the experienced defender, who continues his journey with the black-and-white team.
