The 2032 European Football Championship (EURO 2032) is the subject of a new claim regarding Turkey. Italian journalist Nicolo Schira has suggested that a partnership between Turkey and Italy will host EURO 2032.
According to a report by Ajansspor, there were bids from Turkey, Italy, and Russia ahead of the host announcement scheduled for Tuesday, October 10. The Russian bid had become invalid as Russian football was suspended indefinitely by UEFA due to the war in Ukraine. With Turkey and Italy, the holders of the current bids, deciding to co-host, this remained the only possibility. Once the bids from Turkey and Italy were validated, the hosting decision reached a definitive point. UEFA will make the official announcement on October 10 (tomorrow).
