Jayden Oosterwolde injured at Fenerbahçe: Leaves the pitch on a stretcher
Jayden Oosterwolde, who was injured in the 28th minute of the Sturm Graz match, could not continue; Archie Brown replaced the 25-year-old defender.
Fenerbahçe hosted Sturm Graz at Kadıköy in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round, but the injury to Jayden Oosterwolde dampened spirits for the yellow-navy side.
Oosterwolde, who went down after a challenge with an opponent in the 28th minute of the match, clutched his left hamstring and waited for medical staff to intervene. The match referee, Chris Kavanagh, stopped play and called the medical team onto the pitch.

After initial checks on the pitch, it became clear that the 25-year-old defender could not continue, and he was unable to hold back tears. Oosterwolde was carried off the pitch on a stretcher, forcing a substitution for Fenerbahçe.
The coaching staff brought Archie Brown on to replace Oosterwolde. A clear statement regarding the player's injury status is expected from the club following further medical examinations.
