Yerlikaya used the following expressions:
“Antalyaspor's Israeli footballer Sagiv Jehezkel departed our country as of 17:15. I would like to state once again that Turkey always stands with all the oppressed and the people of Palestine.”
A deportation decision had been issued regarding Israeli footballer Sagiv Jehezkel, who was detained on charges of 'publicly inciting the public to hatred and hostility' after showing the writing on his wrist to the cameras following the goal he scored in the Antalyaspor-Trabzonspor match.
