Jhon Duran was not included in the squad for the match against the Romanian representative due to an injury he sustained during training. This development has also raised the possibility that the player will be unable to play for a short period.
Along with Edson Alvarez, Archie Brown, and Levent Mertcan, who are dealing with injury issues, suspended player Milan Skriniar was also among the players who could not be included in the squad.
Additionally, the team's new signings Anthony Musaba and Matteo Guendouzi will be unable to play in this match due to tournament regulations. Thus, Fenerbahçe will head into the match with significant absences.
