Jorge Jesus era ends at Al Hilal
Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal has parted ways with Portuguese manager Jorge Jesus. The club has appointed assistant coach Mohammed Al-Shalhoub as interim manager.
Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal has officially announced that it has parted ways with manager Jorge Jesus. In a statement released by the club, it was stated that they bid farewell to the Portuguese manager by mutual agreement.
Jesus managed Al Hilal in 46 official matches this season. During this period, the team secured 32 victories, drew 6 matches, and suffered 8 defeats.
Although Al Hilal drew attention with its performance in the league and cup competitions, the management decided to make a change in the technical staff as the end of the season approached.
ASSISTANT COACH APPOINTED TO LEAD THE TEAM
The Al Hilal management has appointed one of the club's assistant coaches, Mohammed Al-Shalhoub, as the interim manager.
HE ALSO MANAGED FENERBAHÇE
Jorge Jesus managed Fenerbahçe during the 2022-23 season. The Portuguese manager won the Turkish Cup with the yellow-navy team.
