Jorge Martin wins the MotoGP French Grand Prix!
Spanish rider Jorge Martin was the first to cross the checkered flag in the 5th stage of the MotoGP held in France.
MotoGP World Championship's 5th stage of the 2024 season, the French Grand Prix, was won by Prima Pramac team's Spanish rider Jorge Martin.
The 5th race of the MotoGP World Championship, the most important organization in motorcycle racing, was held over 27 laps on the 4.19-kilometer track bearing the same name as the city of Le Mans, France.
General classification leader Jorge Martin left his rivals behind with a time of 41 minutes 23.709 seconds, securing his second stage victory of the season.
In the organization, 6-time champion Marc Marquez, the Spanish rider for the Gresini team, finished second, 0.446 seconds behind Martin, while the last two years' champion, Italian Francesco Bagnaia from Ducati Lenovo, took third place, 0.585 seconds behind the leader.
The 6th race of the season will be held in Barcelona on May 26.
