German manager Jürgen Klopp announced at the International Football Coaches Congress that he has ended his managerial career.
German manager Jürgen Klopp, who most recently coached Premier League side Liverpool, has announced that he has ended his managerial career.
The successful coach stated, "As of today, my managerial career has come to an end for me.
I did not make this decision on a whim. It was a general decision. I have worked at the best clubs in the world. Perhaps we can talk about this decision again in a few months."
Klopp, who won the UEFA Champions League title with Liverpool in 2019, the Premier League title in 2020, and the FA Cup in 2021, had achieved the success of becoming the third German manager to win the Champions League after Ottmar Hitzfeld and Jupp Heynckes.
