In Juventus, which has fallen behind league leaders Inter this season, manager Massimiliano Allegri made statements.
The Italian manager stated that Juventus is fighting for second place in the league.
Speaking about the match they will play against Napoli, Allegri said, "Napoli is a strong team and it will be a very difficult match for us. Their current position in the standings is a situation we are not used to. Matches against Napoli are always difficult."
Discussing their goals in the league, Allegri said, "February did not go as we wanted. We were only able to win the Frosinone match. Let's hope March is better for us. We are conceding too many goals. We must be better defensively."
Speaking about his future, the experienced coach said, "I have not spoken to the club about this matter. I have 1 year left on my contract. For now, we want to finish the season in the best way possible."
Finally, Allegri said, "Right now, we must do everything to finish the season in second place and improve even further on last season, when we finished third."
Juventus is currently in second place in Serie A, 12 points behind leaders Inter, who have 57 points.
