Kaan Ayhan: 'We will go to Wales to win'

Kaan Ayhan of the National Team made statements to members of the press before training.

Kaan Ayhan said, "We have guaranteed our participation in EURO 2024. We will go to the Wales match to win. The Germany match will be special for me and some of my teammates. We haven't fully seen the coach's plans yet; we will see a few new players or those who have played less there as well. That is also an important match."

The national player continued his words by saying, "There is an intense match schedule. We were joking about it earlier; when we open our eyes, we are either on the pitch or on a plane. But it is normal; we have aimed for these days since we were little. On one hand, we are grateful. We want to make the most of this opportunity. I feel very good physically. I came on as a substitute in the Hatayspor match. I arrived fit."

Speaking about the match to be played against Germany, the 29-year-old footballer commented, "We tested the fans in the match we played in Munich with Galatasaray. We are a big community; they supported us incredibly. We want to see that atmosphere with the Turkish National Team as well. We won't feel like we are playing away. Hopefully, we want to do good things in the tournament as well."
