Karim Benzema's difficult days in Saudi Arabia continue!

Karim Benzema, who left Real Madrid to join Al-Ittihad last summer, continues to face difficult times.

Due to backlash from fans, the French star reached the point of leaving the country, fueling rumors of his departure and reports linking him to a return to Lyon.

Left out of the squad

Benzema, who also has a strained relationship with manager Marcelo Gallardo, was not included in the AFC Champions League squad. Following reports that he trained at Lyon's facilities last week, speculation has grown that he may transfer to another team in the Saudi Pro League.

According to a report by the French outlet Foot01, league officials do not want Benzema to leave the country.

Karim Benzema has made 20 appearances for Al-Ittihad, scoring 12 goals and providing 5 assists.
