The excitement of the new Champions League season has begun. In the massive tournament, which was announced to be played in a league format for the first time, the first goal came from Kenan Yıldız.

Hosting PSV, the black-and-whites took a 1-0 lead with the national player's goal in the 21st minute. At 19 years and 135 days old, Yıldız became the youngest player in Juventus history to score in the UEFA Champions League.

The previous record belonged to Alessandro Del Piero, who scored against Borussia Dortmund on September 13, 1995 (at 20 years and 308 days).

The first half of the match ended with Juventus leading 2-0.
