The dialogue that allegedly took place between Fenerbahçe U19 captain Emirhan Arkutcu and Kerem Aktürkoğlu, after the Fenerbahçe team withdrew from the pitch during the Super Cup match, had been widely discussed in the public eye.
Emirhan Arkutcu had claimed that he and Kerem Aktürkoğlu had agreed to kick the ball out of play and used the phrase, "They deceived us."
Kerem Aktürkoğlu responded to this claim by Emirhan Arkutcu. Speaking to Milliyet, the national footballer denied the dialogue in question.
Kerem Aktürkoğlu used the following expressions:
"There is no such dialogue. I said 'Welcome' to our brother. I used the words, 'This has nothing to do with you. There is no need to be upset or dwell on it.' During this conversation, our Fenerbahçe brother was looking in another direction."
