Lawsuit filed by Galatasaray against Fenerbahçe and Ali Koç dismissed
Fenerbahçe announced that the lawsuit filed by Galatasaray against the club and former president Ali Koç has been dismissed by the 42nd Civil Court of First Instance.
A verdict has been reached in the lawsuit filed against Fenerbahçe Sports Club and the Yellow-Navies' former president Ali Koç. It was announced that the case heard at the Istanbul 42nd Civil Court of First Instance has been dismissed.
The Yellow-Navy club shared the official statement regarding the case in question with the public.
In the statement made by Fenerbahçe, it was stated that the court did not find the plaintiff's claims to be legally valid or provable in light of the evidence and statements from the parties involved in the file.
The club's statement on the matter is as follows:
"The lawsuit filed against our club and our former President Mr. Ali Y. Koç, which was being heard at the Istanbul 42nd Civil Court of First Instance, was dismissed by the court at the hearing dated 06.01.2026.
The court, having evaluated the evidence presented within the scope of the file and the statements of the parties, concluded that the plaintiff's claims lacked legal basis and proof, and decided to dismiss the case. The decision was announced in accordance with procedure and law.
As Fenerbahçe Sports Club, we hereby inform the public that we will continue to follow legal processes with determination and transparency, just as we have done until today, in the face of unfair and baseless allegations directed at our club's corporate identity, the unifying spirit of sports, and statements made within the boundaries of freedom of expression.
We emphasize once again that we will continue our struggle against any attempt to damage the reputation of our club and our executives within the framework of the principles of the rule of law.
