Lazio rumors for Mauro Icardi: Agent confirms interest, two-year offer on the table

It has been suggested that Mauro Icardi, who left Galatasaray following the expiration of his contract, could continue his career in Italy. The Argentine striker is reportedly on the transfer agenda of Serie A side Lazio.

Icardi's agent, Elio Pino, confirmed Lazio's interest in the player. In his assessment of the transfer process, Pino stated, "This is not an economic plan, it is a life plan. Mauro wants to choose a beautiful city and a beautiful place. Lazio has an intense interest in Mauro Icardi. This is one of the options we are considering."

According to Italian journalist Nicolo Schira, Lazio has offered a two-year contract to the 33-year-old player, who is currently a free agent. It was noted that negotiations between the parties are ongoing, but a definitive agreement has not yet been reached.
