Leclerc takes pole position at F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix

In the qualifying sessions for the race, which will be held over 50 laps on the 6.2-kilometer Las Vegas Strip Circuit in the US state of Nevada, Leclerc secured the top spot with a time of 1:32.726.

The Monegasque driver's teammate Carlos Sainz took second place with a time of 1:32.770, while Red Bull driver Max Verstappen, who has already secured the world championship in the drivers' standings, finished third with 1:33.104, and British Mercedes driver George Russell took fourth with 1:33.112.

Spanish driver Sainz, who received a 10-place grid penalty due to a power unit change on his car following the practice session, will start the race from 12th place. Consequently, on the starting grid, Verstappen will move up to second and Russell to third.

The Las Vegas Grand Prix race will take place tomorrow at 09:00 Turkish time (TSİ).

In the current season, Verstappen has 17 race wins, his teammate Sergio Perez has 2, and Sainz has 1. The 6th leg of the season, the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix, was canceled due to adverse weather conditions.
