The ceremony was attended by the black-and-white club's president Serdal Adalı, chairman of the council board Ahmet Ürkmezgil, board members, and Erdoğan's relatives.
Speaking at the ceremony, President Serdal Adalı said, "Today, we are bidding farewell to Levent Erdoğan, who contributed greatly to Beşiktaş and held a respected place in the history of Turkish sports and law. The firm steps he took for our club, the stance he displayed, and his professional expertise will always hold a special meaning for us. Levent, our elder, left a mark in our hearts not only with his duties but also with his fatherly demeanor. His memories and the values he left behind will continue to live on in our community. I wish him God's mercy and extend my condolences to his family, loved ones, and our entire community."
Levent Erdoğan's funeral will be laid to rest following the funeral prayer to be held at Zincirlikuyu Mosque after the afternoon prayer.
