Seven-time Formula 1 world champion British driver Lewis Hamilton has issued a call for aid to Gaza.
The 38-year-old Mercedes driver shared a link on his social media account, which has 35 million followers, to an organization providing emergency aid to those living in Gaza.
Stating that his heart is broken for the innocent lives lost in Israel and Palestine, Hamilton said, "The scale of the pain and loss is truly devastating, and there can be no justification for the deliberate targeting of innocent people, especially children. We cannot accept this."
Emphasizing that humanity needs to come together more than ever, Hamilton shared his view: "With so much pain and grief, we must use our collective power to pressure our leaders to do everything in their power to put an end to this situation. We must not stop until every child in the region is safe."
