A new claim has emerged from the Spanish press regarding Lionel Messi, who continues his professional career at Inter Miami, suggesting he is set to purchase another club. According to a report by Marca, the Argentine star is taking steps to become a club owner in Spanish football for the second time.
The report recalled that Messi had previously purchased the Catalan team UE Cornella, which competes in the Spanish 5th division. It is stated that the 39-year-old footballer's current target is CD Eldense, which has been promoted to LaLiga 2.
According to the claim, Messi has reached an agreement in principle with the CD Eldense management. Financial details regarding the acquisition process have not yet been disclosed.
