Livakovic speaks out on penalty in Sivasspor match
Fenerbahçe goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic has made his first comments regarding the penalty awarded to Sivasspor in stoppage time during their match.
Fenerbahçe dropped points in the title race after a 2-2 draw away to Sivasspor in the 33rd week of the Süper Lig.
The penalty awarded to Sivasspor in stoppage time stood out as one of the key moments of the match.
Fenerbahçe goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic, who conceded the penalty, shared his views on the incident for the first time.
According to a report in the Hürriyet newspaper, Livakovic said, "In the position, everyone can see that I am opening my leg in a controlled manner and my foot is fixed on the ground. It does not sweep the opponent's foot; it makes contact on the ground. This is clearly visible in the footage. My intervention does not prevent the opponent's shot; the ball is going out of play."
