Mahmut Uslu to Ali Koç: 'You cannot handle the Fenerbahçe presidency'

Fenerbahçe presidential candidate Mahmut Uslu made statements to Sözcü. Addressing Ali Koç, Uslu said, “You haven't been champion for 7 years. You couldn't do it, you failed; signatures are being collected, don't wait for the signature process, go to an extraordinary general assembly immediately. You have finished the club, children are crying. You may be a good person, you may be anything, but you cannot handle the Fenerbahçe presidency.”

FAILURE IN TRANSFER POLICY

Uslu also criticized Ali Koç's transfer policies, stating that the current squad is insufficient and that at least 7-8 new transfers are needed. Stating that Koç's previous transfers were unsuccessful, Uslu said, 'I have no confidence that the current administration will implement a correct transfer policy.'

AZİZ YILDIRIM'S LEGACY

Touching upon the club's financial situation, Mahmut Uslu claimed that Ali Koç is trying to pay off debts by selling the lands acquired by the club during the Aziz Yıldırım era. Uslu used the expression, 'They say we took over a bankrupt club, but in fact, they came upon a fortune.' Furthermore, reiterating his support for Aziz Yıldırım's leadership, Uslu stated that the signature process is ongoing and that he believes the target of 20 thousand signatures will be reached.

Emphasizing that unity and solidarity must be ensured within the Fenerbahçe community, Uslu said, 'We are among those who give to Fenerbahçe. If we ensure our unity, no one can stand against us.' He also stated that they will enter the elections against the administration's plans to hold an extraordinary general assembly in September and that they will oppose them in any case.
