Mahmut Uslu-Ergin Ataman claim ahead of Final Four

In the Euroleague Final Four match, Panathinaikos and Fenerbahçe Beko will face off on Friday, May 24.

The match will be played at the Uber Arena in Berlin, the capital of Germany.

According to a claim on the X account BBO Sports, Mahmut Uslu, who is on the board of directors list of Fenerbahçe Presidential Candidate Aziz Yıldırım, will follow the match from the arena in Berlin.

According to a report in Gsgazete, it is claimed that due to the tension between Ergin Ataman and Uslu during Ataman's time at the helm of Galatasaray, expatriate Galatasaray fans will go to the Arena to support Ataman.

TENSION HAD ERUPTED BETWEEN THE TWO

In 2014, during the 5th match of the Turkish Basketball League play-offs, Fenerbahçe defeated Galatasaray 76-63 to take a 3-2 lead in the series, and after the match, Ergin Ataman said, "You cannot stop hooligan fans from doing this. The thing that upset me the most was that Mahmut Uslu, with whom I had worked before, held his trousers and said, 'I will f*** you.'"

Uslu responded to Ataman with the words, "We won convincingly in the first 2 matches, then they conducted an operation against us. We went there and they did all sorts of things to us. We came here and again the matches were played without problems. Nobody wrote anything about the man who said I pulled my trousers down while I was sitting here. In the match where I was punched, not even an apology came, except from a few Galatasaray friends of mine."
