Fenerbahçe Beko Men's Basketball Team captain Melih Mahmutoğlu had his driver's license confiscated for driving under the influence. The vehicle he was driving was also temporarily banned from traffic.
Fenerbahçe Beko Men's Basketball Team captain Melih Mahmutoğlu was stopped by police in Beşiktaş while driving under the influence. During a traffic inspection conducted in Etiler neighborhood on October 23, the vehicle with license plate 34 KJN 214 driven by Mahmutoğlu was pulled over.
Legal action initiated after 1.15 promille alcohol test result
Mahmutoğlu, who was determined to have 1.15 promille alcohol in his system during the breathalyzer test, was taken to the police station for necessary procedures. In accordance with the relevant article of the Highway Traffic Law, an administrative fine was imposed on Mahmutoğlu.
