In the third-round match held on the 7th day of the tournament in Melbourne, Polish player Swiatek faced her 19-year-old Czech opponent, Linda Noskova.
Swiatek was defeated by her 19-year-old opponent 2-1 with set scores of 6-3, 3-6, 4-6, marking her exit from the tournament.
