Malaga crowned Basketball Champions League champion

The excitement of the Final Four took place in the Basketball Champions League. In the final match of the organization held in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, Spanish representatives Lenovo Tenerife and Unicaja Malaga faced off.

Finishing the first quarter ahead 16-10, Unicaja Malaga also entered the halftime break with a 38-27 lead.

Although Lenovo Tenerife displayed a more high-scoring performance in the second half and tried to get back into the game, Unicaja Malaga, which finished the third period ahead 62-56, won the match 80-75.

For Unicaja Malaga, Kendrick Perry with 17 points and Nihad Dedovic with 14 points played a significant role in the victory. For Lenovo Tenerife, Kyle Guy's 18 points and Giorgi Shermadini's 16 points could not prevent the defeat.

Unicaja Malaga, which has one Korać Cup and one EuroCup victory in its history, achieved its first championship in the Basketball Champions League.

Meanwhile, Spain's UCAM Murcia team, which defeated the Greek team Peristeri 87-84, finished the tournament in third place.
