Mame Thiam, who played for Süper Lig side Kayserispor, has transferred to Pendikspor.

Kayserispor press spokesperson Samet Koç announced the transfer of Thiam to Pendikspor in a statement on his social media account.

Samet Koç's statement is as follows:

"Great Kayserispor fans, we have made multiple offers to extend the contract of our goalscorer Mame Baba Thiam, whose contract was set to expire at the end of the season, over the past few months. However, we were unable to reach an agreement with our player within the framework of the economic program determined by Kayserispor for the new period. Instead of leaving for free at the end of the season, he has ensured that Kayserispor earns money by moving to a team during the mid-season transfer window; I thank him for this behavior and wish him success at Pendikspor."
