Management of Adana Demirspor entrusted to the Şimşekler Group!

Having gone through a deep financial bottleneck for the last two years, Adana Demirspor has experienced a difficult period in the shadow of financial problems. The club's situation, which has faced a high debt burden, transfer restrictions, and point deduction sanctions, has also been reflected in its performance on the field. In Adana Demirspor, which is in last place in the league with minus 28 points, the management has been transferred from Murat Sancak.

The following statements were included in the announcement made by the club:

"Our distinguished club, which was founded in 1940 with the sweat and great efforts of railway workers, has been going through difficult days in recent years. As a result of the work we have been carrying out for a long time and the great efforts we have made, as of today, we are turning a brand new and clean page in our club's history in a way worthy of Adana Demirspor. We are all experiencing the pride of overcoming the most critical threshold by taking a historic responsibility in the 'Long Live Demirspor' campaign, which we started by saying, 'This crest is not ownerless, and these fans will not remain silent.' The process of taking over the club, which is the most important step of our 'Long Live Demirspor' campaign, has been officially completed as a result of the protocols made with Murat Sancak.

Adana Demirspor has been transferred to the people, its true owners, under the leadership of the Şimşekler Grubu, the locomotive of our community. Thus, our club has returned to the management of its fans and people in a way worthy of its founding values. This is a change of guard. Until a new and permanent board of directors is formed, all financial, administrative, and sporting operations of our club will be carried out by the interim management organization with a great sense of responsibility.

In this context, Ertan Zeybek will assume the position of President of Adana Demirspor Club, and Mustafa Kemal Üstüner will assume the position of Deputy President of Adana Demirspor. We are wearing this 'shirt of fire' so as not to leave the Adana Demirspor crest ownerless, and we are shouldering this process by acting as a bridge. We are aware of the weight and magnitude of the burden we have shouldered."

The continuation of the statement emphasized that steps are being taken towards institutionalization and democratization within the club.

In this context, "Along with these issues, the main goals of our interim management are; to ensure the financial discipline of the club, to strengthen the corporate structure, to create a transparent and accountable management model, to establish a democratic and participatory membership system, and to pave the way for the formation of a permanent, competent, and visionary management as soon as possible. In addition, the process of institutionalization and democratization has been officially initiated so that our club can regain its identity as the 'People's Team'.

The club structure will be moved from being person-centered to a corporate and social foundation. In accordance with our principle of transparency, the current debt status, financial structure, and financial statements of our club will be shared with the public clearly and openly in the coming days after a detailed examination. Our community and the public will be regularly informed about all processes.

As the true owners of our community; in this arduous process, we invite all our fellow fans to stand shoulder to shoulder in unity and solidarity, and to protect the people's team. Adana Demirspor is once again of the people, just as it was in the days it was founded; it is the sole representative of the voice in the stands, the breath on the street, and an inextinguishable fire," it was stated.
