Marco Asensio in Kadıköy with his number 10 jersey
Fenerbahçe's Spanish star Marco Asensio made his first appearance in Kadıköy wearing the number 10 jersey he will sport this season.
In the first leg of the UEFA Champions League second qualifying round, Fenerbahçe hosted Polish side Gornik Zabrze, with Asensio also taking the field in the second half.
Asensio, who had a minor injury during the pre-season and worked individually during the first training camp period, also received playing time in the friendly matches played during the camp process.

Included in the squad for the Yellow-Navy Blues' first official match, Marco Asensio entered the game in the 69th minute, replacing Kerem Aktürkoğlu against Gornik Zabrze.
Asensio, who wore the number 21 jersey last season and played an important role in Fenerbahçe's attacking power, switched to the number 10 jersey at the beginning of the season. Asensio received loud applause from the stands when he came to the sidelines to enter the game against the Polish team.
