Markus Gisdol: 'We may make one more transfer in the final hours'

Markus Gisdol, the manager of Trendyol Süper Lig side Yılport Samsunspor, stated that they could add one more player to their squad in the final hours of the winter transfer window.

Speaking at a press conference held at the Nuri Asan Facilities, Gisdol evaluated the match they will play at home against Bitexen Antalyaspor on Monday, February 12.

Emphasizing that Bitexen Antalyaspor is a good team, Gisdol said, "They are a team composed of good individual players. I have also seen that they are a tactically sound team. We are preparing for this match in the best way possible, and we will face Antalyaspor in the best possible form."

Pointing out that it is the final day of the winter transfer window, the German manager continued:

"It is quite difficult to make transfers during the winter window. When the transfer process began, we determined a list and stated what kind of reinforcements we needed for the necessary positions. Of course, we know that this has been a difficult period for both our president, Yüksel Yıldırım, and our football director, Fuat Çapa. Because I know that selling players and buying players is difficult. We signed Benito Raman. I am happy that Raman is with us. It is the final day, the final hours of the transfer window; perhaps we can make one more transfer. Let us not forget that we have collected 25 points with the squad we currently have. We want to bring quality players into our squad, but due to the situation we are in, this is a bit difficult."

Pointing out that too much pressure should not be placed on new signing Benito Raman, Gisdol said, "No player can be 100 percent ready or adapt immediately when they come to a new culture or a new country. We need to give him some time. These changes are not easy for a player.
