Matchups are set: Round of 32 schedule for the World Cup announced

Following the completion of group matches in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, co-hosted by the USA, Mexico, and Canada, the teams advancing to the Round of 32 and their matchups have been determined.

This year, 48 countries are competing in the tournament for the first time. After 72 matches played in the group stage, the top two teams from each of the 12 groups, along with 8 of the best third-placed teams, have advanced to the Round of 32.

The knockout stage matches will begin on Sunday, June 28, with the South Africa vs. Canada game. The schedule features notable matchups such as Brazil vs. Japan, Germany vs. Paraguay, France vs. Sweden, Spain vs. Austria, Portugal vs. Croatia, and Argentina vs. Cape Verde.
