Mauro Icardi, whose contract with Galatasaray has expired, has left Istanbul.
Mauro Icardi has left Istanbul with 25 suitcases and returned to his home country. According to the report by Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, the 33-year-old forward departed for Argentina with 25 suitcases.
Although the Dursun Özbek administration wanted to sign a new contract with the experienced forward, an agreement could not be reached regarding the annual salary.
It was stated that Icardi requested a 2-year contract and an annual salary of 7 million euros.
Galatasaray's offer, however, was a 1-year contract and a salary of 5 million euros.
