Argentine striker Mauro Icardi, in a statement made on his Instagram account, used the following expressions:
"My name sells well, and some Turkish 'journalists' calling me from the club andmissmy contract will not be renewedsaidthat they want to claim… But nobody called me, they didn't call my representative either. Because do you want to sell something that isn't news as news to cover up a defeat? is that what you want to do?
"I SEND YOU A KISSCONTRACT"
My contract ends in June 2026. I do not allow them to usemy image to do this.Don't worry; when my contractends, I will leave with my head held high. And hypothetically, more If I leave first, it will be solely and entirely mydecision, not anyone else's. I am sending you a kiss. You have a few more months to watch Icardi. Enjoy itbecause later you will miss me."
