Red Bull's Dutch driver Max Verstappen has reached his 3rd consecutive world championship in Formula 1.
As the excitement in Formula 1 continues with the Qatar Grand Prix, the champion was decided with today's sprint race. Red Bull's Dutch driver Max Verstappen, who has been leading the championship by a wide margin, finished the sprint race in second place and declared his championship in the drivers' standings. The sprint race was won by McLaren's Australian driver Oscar Piastri.
With this result, Verstappen became champion for the 3rd time in a row after 2021 and 2022.
