Mehmet Büyükekşi has made his decision regarding his presidential candidacy!

Turkish Football Federation President Mehmet Büyükekşi has decided to run for re-election in the TFF presidential elections to be held on July 18.

According to the report by Sports Digitale Editor-in-Chief Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, Mehmet Büyükekşi has decided to be a candidate in the TFF election on July 18.

According to the report, Mehmet Büyükekşi has begun preparing his list and has informed his inner circle that he will be a candidate.

Three people had previously announced their presidential candidacies for the TFF elections.

SERVET YARDIMCI

Servet Yardımcı, one of the former presidents of the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) and a member of the UEFA Executive Committee, has also announced his candidacy for the TFF Presidency.

Servet Yardımcı stated in his announcement to Anadolu Agency, "I am a candidate for the TFF Presidency to help Turkish football emerge from the turbulence it is currently in."

Emphasizing that Turkish football is in a deeper managerial crisis than ever before, Yardımcı noted in his statement, "The fact that Turkey, one of the world's 20 largest economies, has fallen far behind the place it deserves in football is contrary to our country's vision. As a football man who has been in the business world for 40 years and has held managerial positions at the national/international level for 20 years, I have decided to offer my experience and relationships to the benefit of Turkish football, together with my competent and qualified team."

Emphasizing that he wants to keep 5 concepts on the agenda as priorities, Yardımcı listed them as follows:

"By making Turkish football compliant and suitable for the international criteria determined by UEFA/FIFA, we will manage it in a participatory, sharing, transparent, and accountable manner together with the football family and stakeholders.

Due to our national economy and national interests, we will ensure that football transitions to a modern order that creates added value rather than causing Turkey to lose foreign currency, and that prioritizes branding and infrastructure.

With the awareness that every square meter of our country, from east to west, is full of a love for football; we will re-evaluate our Anatolian football and lower leagues in the most efficient and supportive way, and distribute financial resources fairly and accurately, focused on the development of football.

With the awareness that the TFF is not the federation of a specific team or group, but of our clubs and stakeholders, we will adopt an approach that values and supports the representation of our clubs in Europe and the world. We will establish a competitive and international corporate structure by creating an organization under the TFF umbrella that is a candidate to host international tournaments.

We will reorganize the unfortunately tarnished Turkish refereeing in a way that satisfies the football public, to restore it to the international level and prestige that Turkish football deserves, and we will ensure the formation of corporate neutral conditions."

İBRAHİM HACIOSMANOĞLU

Former Trabzonspor Club President İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu has announced that he is a candidate for the Presidency of the Turkish Football Federation (TFF).

In his statement to an AA reporter, Hacıosmanoğlu stated that Turkish football needs fair management and said, "We set out with this understanding. I am a candidate for the TFF Presidency."

İSMAİL UYANIK

Former Samsunspor Club President İsmail Uyanık has announced his candidacy for the presidency of the Turkish Football Federation (TFF).

Uyanık announced his candidacy for the TFF presidency at a press conference held at a hotel in the city.

Stating that he decided to become a candidate in the recent period to make amends with football, with the encouragement and insistence of young people from Samsun, football fans from Samsun, and football fans in Turkey, Uyanık said, "Today, I am announcing my candidacy for the presidency of the Turkish Football Federation in the upcoming elections."

Expressing that he announced his candidacy with the expectation of clean football and successful football teams in Turkey, Uyanık noted the following:

"I am announcing my candidacy together with those who believe that football teams should be saved from debts and technical bankruptcy, that the national team should be successful again, and that our teams should be able to become European champions again. This process is an opportunity to discuss the truths I know on behalf of football and to convey these messages to the public more comfortably... I believe that there are many qualified and clean football people with whom we can unite under the right slogans when we say the right things and the right slogans. I hope it will be beneficial for Turkish sports, for Samsun, and especially for Anatolian sports."
