Memik Yılmaz: Let the two big clubs play among themselves
Gaziantep FK President Memik Yılmaz made statements following the Galatasaray match, saying, "Let the two big clubs play among themselves; I actually think that we, the Anatolian clubs, are being done a disservice."
Gaziantep FK, which hosted Galatasaray in the 22nd week of the Trendyol Super Lig, left the pitch with a 1-0 defeat.
Speaking to members of the press after the match, Gaziantep FK President Memik Yılmaz touched upon the referee's decisions and said, "I believe we played very well against a team like Galatasaray. This is football; we win, and we lose. But some things inevitably upset people. Let the two big clubs play among themselves; I actually think that we, the Anatolian clubs, are being done a disservice."
"WE ARE TIRED OF TALKING ABOUT REFEREES"
Stating that they did their best as an Anatolian club, President Yılmaz said, "First of all, I congratulate both teams. I believe my team played beautiful football with all their heart. We are tired of always talking about referees. I believe that those who commit injustice will pay for this sin in the afterlife. As an Anatolian club, we did our best. I would like to thank our fans, my players, the management, and the technical staff." he said.
