Men's final set at the Australian Open
Italian tennis player Jannik Sinner has advanced to the final of the Australian Open, the first Grand Slam tournament of the season. His opponent in the final will be German racket Alexander Zverev.
World No. 1 Jannik Sinner has achieved a major success by advancing to the men's singles final at the Australian Open. On the 13th day of the tournament in Melbourne, Italian tennis player Sinner faced American Ben Shelton in the semifinals.
Displaying a superior performance in the match that lasted 2 hours and 36 minutes, Sinner defeated his opponent 3-0 with sets of 7-6, 6-2, and 6-2 to secure his ticket to the final.
In the other semifinal, German racket Alexander Zverev became the player to advance to the final after Novak Djokovic withdrew due to injury following the first set of their match.
The men's singles final will be played between Jannik Sinner and Alexander Zverev on Sunday, January 26. The highly anticipated final will be one of the matches closely followed by the tennis world.
