Messages from Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray regarding the Malatya earthquake
Following the 5.2 magnitude earthquake that occurred in the Battalgazi district of Malatya, Turkey's two major football clubs, Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray, issued a joint message of concern.
A 5.2 magnitude earthquake occurred in the Battalgazi district of Malatya today at 16:04. According to the statement made by the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), the epicenter of the earthquake was in the Battalgazi district, and the depth of the earthquake was recorded as 13.93 km. Sports clubs Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray conveyed their best wishes regarding the earthquake.
Fenerbahçe Sports Club made the following statement:
"We hope that there will be no loss of life or property following the earthquake in the Battalgazi district of Malatya; we convey our best wishes to all our citizens."

Galatasaray Sports Club stated the following:
"We hope that the earthquake, with its epicenter in the Battalgazi district of Malatya, does not cause any loss of life or property, and we convey our best wishes to all our citizens affected by the tremor."
