I told him that Istanbul is a beautiful and safe city and that we have great food. I said, 'We would be very happy if you come,' and he came. We wish him success," he expressed.
Mesut Özil also mentioned his plans to establish a football academy in Ümraniye. "Why not in the future? I am not thinking about it right now, but God willing, I will establish an academy as soon as possible. I want young people to showcase themselves in Europe, which is why I attach importance to the academy," he said.
