According to the statement made by the Turkish Archery Federation, three athletes have advanced to the medal finals in the individual categories at the championship organized by the European Archery Federation in Essen, Germany.
In the recurve men's category, Mete Gazoz advanced to the final by defeating Luxembourg's Pit Klein 6-0, Dutchman Steve Wijler 6-0, another Dutchman Gijs Broeksma 6-0, and in the semi-final, Frenchman Baptiste Addis with a score of 7-1. Mete will face Slovenian Den Habjan Malavasic in the final on Sunday, May 12.
In the compound women's category, Hazal Burun, and in the compound men's category, Emircan Haney, will compete in the bronze medal matches.
The national archers had already qualified yesterday to compete in two bronze medal matches in the recurve and compound mixed team events.
In addition to the team events, the compound finals will be held tomorrow, and the recurve finals will take place on Sunday, May 12.
