Mircea Lucescu has stepped down from his position at Dynamo Kyiv following a 1-0 defeat to Shakhtar Donetsk.
In his post-match statement, Lucescu said, "I don't want to talk about football. I have dedicated 15 years of my life to Ukrainian football. I have decided to end my career here. This was my last match. Thank you all. I would have liked it to end differently. Everything has a beginning and an end."
The experienced manager's current contract with Dynamo Kyiv was set to expire in June 2024.
