During Egypt's victory against Sierra Leone, Mohamed Salah drew a major reaction from fans. Two fans who jumped onto the pitch in the 89th minute attempted to attack Mohamed Salah. While security guards were catching the first fan who jumped onto the pitch, a second person entered the field from the stands and headed toward Mohamed Salah.
Seeing the attacking fan running toward Mohamed Salah, a security guard and one of Salah's teammates intervened against the individual.
