The Turkish Football Federation announced today, following a meeting, that a decision was made to continue in office and that they have parted ways with A National Team Head Coach Vincenzo Montella.
The statement from the TFF is as follows;
The Turkish Football Federation Board of Directors, at its meeting held today, has decided to continue its duties until the date of the ordinary elective general assembly.
It has been decided to appoint Mr. İbrahim Özbay and Mr. Metin Akyüz, who are substitute board members, to replace the two full board members who previously resigned.
A decision has been made not to continue with our A National Team Head Coach, Mr. Vincenzo Montella.
Mr. Ahmet Erzurumlu, who currently serves as the TFF Registration Affairs Director, has been appointed to replace Secretary General Mr. Abdullah Ayaz, who submitted his resignation to the TFF Board of Directors in recent days.
