Morale boost for Beşiktaş before the derby: Salaries paid, bonus promised!
Hüseyin Yücel, who recently took the presidential seat at Beşiktaş, paid the players' overdue salaries and announced that he would provide a victory bonus ahead of the Fenerbahçe derby.
Beşiktaş had been facing allegations that players' salaries had not been paid for two months.
Hüseyin Yücel, who has taken the presidential seat at the black-and-white club, decided to address this issue and pay the players' salaries ahead of the Fenerbahçe derby to be played on December 7.
Yücel, who took over the presidency following the resignation of Hasan Arat, has begun taking steps to overcome the difficult situation the club is in.
According to the report in Fanatik, Yücel also decided to give a bonus to the players following a derby victory.
Aiming to find morale against Fenerbahçe, Beşiktaş intends to both increase motivation within the team and disperse the negative atmosphere in the community with this move.
