Mourinho makes statements regarding Fenerbahçe's future
Fenerbahçe manager Jose Mourinho made important statements about the team's future and his own situation following the Hatayspor match.
In the 37th week of the Trendyol Super Lig, Fenerbahçe faced Atakaş Hatayspor at Mersin Stadium. Speaking to beIN Sports after the match, Jose Mourinho evaluated the team's performance and his own future.
While analyzing the match, Mourinho said, "We played two different matches today. In the first half, when it was 11 against 11, we did not allow the opponent to take a shot on our goal and we took a 1-0 lead. However, after Müldür received a red card, we were left with 10 men and conceded a goal. The second half was difficult for us. We lost the match due to our young goalkeeper's mistake."
Regarding his future at Fenerbahçe, the manager stated: "Our president clearly stated on a television program that he wants me to stay. His confidence in me is known to the public. He has taken a clear stance on this matter. If there is a change, it has not been communicated to me yet. Some players know they will not be here next season, and this situation affects them. Those who have question marks in their minds are also affected by this uncertainty."
Mourinho's statements provided clues about the next season's planning, which is eagerly awaited by Fenerbahçe fans.
